It's time to take off your pillow cases and wash your pillows and/or your pillow protectors. And . . . you may find it might be time to get new pillows. A couple of tips . . .
- Down pillows (2 at a time) can go directly in the wash. I splash a little bit of bleach in there just to get the pillow super clean. The down pillows can go directly in the dryer. I always put them in with a few tennis balls so they come out super fluffy.
- Cotton pillows don't always do so well in the wash. You can certainly add a little bleach to see if you can clean them up. And try the tennis balls. But be aware, the pillow may come out lumpy.
- Synthetic pillows (the ones that are suppose to feel like down) can generally make the trip through the machine and dryer just like the down pillows.
