pillows . . .

It's time to take off your pillow cases and wash your pillows and/or your pillow protectors.  And . . . you may find it might be time to get new pillows.  A couple of tips . . .

  1. Down pillows (2 at a time) can go directly in the wash.  I splash a little bit of bleach in there just to get the pillow super clean.  The down pillows can go directly in the dryer.  I always put them in with a few tennis balls so they come out super fluffy.
  2. Cotton pillows don't always do so well in the wash.  You can certainly add a little bleach to see if you can clean them up.  And try the tennis balls.  But be aware, the pillow may come out lumpy.
  3. Synthetic pillows (the ones that are suppose to feel like down) can generally make the trip through the machine and dryer just like the down pillows.
