hug . . .

Yesterday, when I got Murphy up from her nap (which was more like her trampoline session in her crib) I gave her a big hug.  And then I just kept hugging and hugging and hugging her.  It felt like we were there forever.  I decided to hug her until she pulled away, she didn't pull away.  So I sat down in the rocking chair in her room and just kept snuggling her.  I'm not sure how long we were like that (maybe 10 or 20 minutes), it was so nice.  I'm pretty sure I can't get my kids to snuggle like that every time, but I'm going to start holding on a little bit longer . . . I can't imagine what kind of wonderful stuff that does for our insides . . . staying in a hug with your child for as long as they will let you, I'm sure the list would circle the globe a few times. P.S.  I'll do this for you too Wheatie!
