I'm not posting a recipe today, just a quick cooking tip. The next time you need a little bit of fresh lemon juice, poke a hole in the lemon with a tooth pick, squeeze out the juice and cover the hole with a piece of scotch tape. The lemon will keep it's juice for up to five days. And remember, always have lemons on hand! You can squeeze the juice in salads, pasta, dips, tuna fish, salsa, steak, chicken, artichokes, asparagus, squeeze some in your bathtub etc. etc. Lemons are a great support to your body . . .
- by boosting vitamin C
- by aiding in antibacterial, antiviral and immune-boosting powers
- by helping as a digestive aid - aiding in weight loss
- as a liver cleanser
